DANCE

Within dance classes students learn exciting new routines. We focus on a variety of styles looking at Street, Lyrical, Jazz and Musical Theatre. We work on improving technique, flexibility, basic acro and performance. Impresario dance classes work as a team, but we give everyone the chance to shine individually. Dance classes are always great fun and a great way to keep your child active.

SINGING

We aim for the singing classes to be fun and student learn a wide range of modern vocal training techniques. These techniques we use to develop and stretch each student’s vocal range and ability. They learn how to project their voices, breathing techniques, harmonising, and keeping time. We focus on a wide range of songs including pop and musical theatre. We focus on combining their singing with their dance and drama training as we aim to always give a performance.

DRAMA

Within Drama lessons students learn to improvise, read scripts from television and musicals, express emotions as well as building confidence on and off stage. We help students to gain the necessary skills they will require to be an actor/actress. Drama is an excellent way for your child to gain confidence and show all their skills learnt within our lessons on stage.

JUnior & SEnior Elites

In September 2018 Impresario Theatre School formed an Elites team competing in local dance competitions. Both schools have these Elite squads where they train on another day focusing on competitions. Our seniors have won multiple awards for Contemporary, Lyrical, Commercial and Musical Theatre. Our Juniors who formed in 2019 gained first place in their very first competition for their musical theatre routine. Our Colchester team formed in 2022 and push themselves to train to the best of their ability.

Mini Boppers

Our Mini Boppers class is an introductory lesson to dance and musical theatre. In this lesson students learn fun dance routines, songs, musicality and learn theatre technique ready for main theatre school. Our Mini Boppers also take part in our annual show.

LITTLE STARS

Our Little Stars class is for students 4-5years old. Little Stars is a shorter Theatre School time table consisting of Dance, Drama and Singing lessons. In this lesson students learn fun dance routines, songs, musicality and learn theatre technique ready for main theatre school. Our Drama session is lots of fun and helps build confidence and friendships in class. Our Little Stars also take part in our annual show and local events.
